House rules

We ask that you please be respectful of our property, as we have worked very hard to create a unique and fun experience for you as our guests! After 10pm, please keep voices down if using outdoor amenities like the deck or hot tub. Smoking/vaping is not allowed indoors. If smoking outdoors, please clean up after yourself. Pets: Not allowed. Toilets are for toilet paper only. Our property uses a septic tank system. No grease in the sink. Parties/events are not allowed. The upstairs fireplace is non-operable. The downstairs fireplace has an electric fireplace insert and is operable. Hot Tub: Glass is not allowed in the hot tub. Plastic cups are OK. Keep hot tub cover on when not in use. Please dry off before re-entering the house. Sauna: Please turn sauna off when done enjoying. Children cannot use sauna unsupervised. Grill: The grill uses a propane tank. Make sure the propane tank is correctly hooked up before using. Turn the gas on when cooking, and turn off after done. Please use the scraper to clean the grill after use. If the tank is empty, Ace Hardware is about a minute away. We ask guests to fill the tank and we will reimburse you for the tank refill. Firepit The firepit table is for outdoor use only. The firepit uses a propane tank. When using, make sure the tank is correctly installed before use. Conduct a simple “bubble” leak test before use. Pool Table: Please don't move the table Trash and recycling: Trash and recycling bins are in the garage, please sort your trash and recycling accordingly. Trash pickup day is on Wednesdays. Furniture: Please do not move furniture. If something breaks or is damaged, please let me know. Thank you!

The home was everything we needed and more. The host was proactive with house supplies and great with communication. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this host!

We loved our stay at this house! It's walkable to a couple grocery stores and a quick trip to downtown Portland, so it was very convenient. We were here for a writing retreat, and the dining room table was the perfect size for games, working, and workshopping. The downstairs area was super cozy, the beds were comfortable, and we had a lovely time in general. A very well-stocked kitchen in regards to bowls, plates, and utensils. There was even a knife sharpener, which was so helpful because I love cooking and I can't stand a dull knife! The location is quiet, the neighborhood is beautiful, and there were a couple trails nearby that were great for a morning jog (during which I saw some cottontail rabbits). Hopefully we will be back next year! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Vitaliy!
